EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette women's lacrosse head coach Kathy Frick has resigned from her post that she held for the past four seasons. The College has begun a national search for a replacement.

The seventh head coach in Lafayette women's lacrosse history, Frick coached six players who earned All-Patriot League teams including Kristin Ruminski who was the Patriot League Co-Rookie of the Year in 2006. She had eight Patriot League Players of the Week, four of whom were freshmen. Frick pushed her team to do well in the classroom as well as on the field and more than 30 of her student-athletes were named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll during her tenure. Frick leaves Lafayette with an 11-53 overall mark and a 3-19 record in Patriot League action.

The 2009 Lafayette women's lacrosse team returns 26 student-athletes from its 2008 squad which finished 2-15 overall and 0-6 in Patriot League play. Lafayette's women's lacrosse program has won 10 Patriot League Championships in the 18-year history of the conference.
