COMMERCE CITY, Colo. - Colorado State rallied from a three-goal second half deficit to defeat Michigan 16-15 to advance to the semifinal round of the US Lacrosse Women's Division Intercollegiate Associates national championship at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. CSU goalie Brooke Lewis saved a free position shot as time expired to preserve the victory for the Rams.

CSU will meet six-time defending national champion Cal Poly in a semifinal game at 4 p.m. on Friday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Cal Poly got nine goals from Janelle Jones to cruise to a 19-4 victory over Michigan State.

The other semifinal begins at 2 p.m. and pits Navy against UC-Santa Barbara. Navy got five goals from Erin Rawlick and overcame two early three-goal deficits to beat Colorado 15-14. UC-Santa Barbara goalie Cassie Sontang made 17 saves to lead the Gauchos to a 16-10 victory over Brigham Young.

The US Lacrosse WDIA is comprised of 180 college club teams from around the country. The top 16 are in Denver this week competing for a national championship. This year's championship is sponsored by Lax World Colorado and Sports Her Way.
