All eyes were on Philadelphia, where a trio of freshmen (goalie Adam Ghitelman and Bratton twins Rhamel and Shamel) and a high-profile transfer (Peter Lamade) took the field for No. 2-ranked Virginia's season-opener against No. 20 Drexel. But it was Garrett Billings' seven-point performance that delivered the Cavaliers an 11-7 victory.

Also in the mix this week: Hofstra's women dominate at UMBC; the No. 5 Notre Dame men survive a scare at Loyola; and two mid-Atlantic men's programs, No. 13 Delaware and UMBC, face off for a cause in front of 4,500 fans in Neptune Beach, Fla.

Click here and allow your midday senses to be dulled, as LMO presents the second installment in its weekly "Slide Package" series of multimedia lacrosse highlights. Check back to LMO each Tuesday for a new edition.
