Major League Lacrosse announced the 22 players that will represent the league in its All-Star game against the 2006 U.S. Men's Team on July 6 in Boston. The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. at Nickerson Field. The game will also be taped by ESPN2 and air on Sunday, July 9 at 1 p.m. (EST).

The game will be the final game for the U.S. team before it begins play in the 2006 International Lacrosse Federation World Championship from July 13-22 in Canada.

The MLL All-Star team includes 11 players that tried out for the U.S. team but were not selected. John Grant and Brodie Merrill, two of the MLL All-Stars will be playing for Canada in this summer's ILF championship. The MLL All-Star team includes five past members of U.S. teams - Adam Doneger (2002 alternate), Jesse Hubbard (1998), Mike Law (2002), Ryan McClay (2002) and Mark Millon (1994, 1998).

Twenty-one of the 23 players on the U.S. team are playing for MLL teams this summer, including Ryan Powell, who tied a league record with nine goals in San Francisco's 25-20 victory over Denver this past weekend.
